Overview

The Certificate IV in Project Management provides a working knowledge of project management principles and processes as well as the application of tools, techniques and methods crucial to a successful project. This is a nationally recognised qualification.

This accredited program reflects the cross-industry application of the work functions normally undertaken by a project team, spanning all phases of a project from concept through to close-out. You will gain valuable skills, including setting timelines and targets, project costing, budget management, quality control, communicating with key stakeholders as well as recruiting and leading personnel to work on the project.

This qualification is delivered online providing you with the flexibility to complete the training when and where you wish. You will be fully supported throughout the learning process by qualified trainers from Accredited Online Training (AOT), Australia's leading provider of online qualifications. AOT provide exemplary participant support services, including:

- Individual over-the-phone inductions with a facilitator who will step you through the process and answer any queries
- Unlimited mentoring and support services by qualified training via a toll free phone number or via email

The course provides students with a working knowledge of project management principles and processes as well as the application of tools, techniques and methods crucial to a successful project. When you have completed this course, you will be able to:

This course is a nationally recognised qualification, which leads to the Diploma of Project Management.

Assessment:

All assessments are conducted online and you will receive feedback from your assessor within 48 hours (except when there is a Public Holiday). Holistic or major assessments may take up to seven days. Assessments may include multiple choice and/or short answer questionnaires, portfolios, case studies, and in some cases video and/or workplace based evidence may also be required. Duration

Learning online allows you the freedom to take complete control of your learning schedule. You can study at home, during your lunch break or from anywhere in the world.

The total nominal hours for this course are 300 hours. This should include completing both the online training module and the associated formal assessment component.

Full-time load: 12hrs/wk
Full-time duration: 25 weeks

Maximum 12 months access to online course (approx. 10-20 hours to complete each unit)

How to gain your qualification faster!

Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) is “the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge” that you have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences. If RPL is granted, this will mean that you will not have to complete the study or assessments for a unit or units of competency. Please read the student handbook for more information.
