Sexual Harassment Prevention (NZ) V2

Cost: $55.00

Sexual Harassment Prevention (NZ)
Sexual harassment is against the law. It is prohibited by sections 62 and 69 of the Human Rights Act 1993 (HRA) and is grounds for a personal grievance under sections 103, 108 and 117 of the Employment Relations Act 2000 (ERA). These laws aim to prevent sexual harassment and promote equality in all aspects of the New Zealand community.

Designed to provide you with an introduction to the issues relating to sexual harassment, and the laws which protect against such behaviour in the workplace, this course is essential for all employees to understand the legislative requirements relating to sexual harassment in the workplace. It is also essential for employers in order to understand how to deal with complaints of sexual harassment.

This course aims to build a general awareness of your obligations under the law. As it is not tailored to your particular circumstances, it should not be treated as legal advice.
