OHS in the Office (2010)
Overview
Employers have obligations to ensure work is conducted in a safe manner and to protect you in your workplace, but do you know what your responsibilities, rights, and obligations as an employee are? Everyone has the right to be provided with a safe and healthy work environment and in turn is obligated to help ensure the safety of themselves and their colleagues. If employers and employees are alert and work together, workplace accidents can be prevented.
This course is designed to be delivered organisation-wide to provide employees and employers with general knowledge of the legal requirements and basic principles and practices relating to OHS in a work environment. As it is not tailored to your particular circumstances, it should not be treated as legal advice.
This course has been written in partnership with and endorsed by Clayton Utz, a leading Australian law firm.
