This course is designed to be delivered organisation-wide to provide employees and employers with general knowledge of the legal requirements and basic principles and practices relating to OHS in a work environment.

Objectives

At the successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

- Identify risks and hazards which you may encounter in an office environment.
- Prevent Occupational Overuse Syndrome (OOS).
- Undertake remedial action when affected by workplace hazards.
- Define your and your employer's roles and responsibilities in terms of OHS legislation.
- Consult and communicate about workplace safety issues.
