Privacy (2011)

Overview

What is ‘personal information’?
How does it affect the way in which I work?
What are my responsibilities?

This course aims to answer your questions about Australian Privacy law.

Concentrating on the private sector provisions of the Privacy Act, as well as highlighting relevant parts of the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), this course provides you with an awareness of your obligations concerning privacy and personal information.

This course has been written in alliance with and is proudly supported by Clayton Utz, a leading Australian law firm. As the course provides general information and is not tailored to your particular circumstances, it should not be treated as legal advice.
