Overview
This unit, developed in partnership with Goodtaste Training and Education, deals with the skills and knowledge required to follow key hygiene procedures which apply in hospitality and tourism enterprises. It is particularly relevant to staff working in kitchens, housekeeping, food and beverage and tour operations involving the preparation of food.
This course involves online interactive study, and the completion of an online assessment. Upon successful completion, this course will result in the award of a nationally recognised 'Statement of Attainment'. It may be undertaken as a separate unit of study, or as part of a broader qualification in Hospitality.
