Overview

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to gather, organise and present workplace information using available systems. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of endorsement.

This unit applies to individuals who are required to apply their broad knowledge of the work environment to analysis and research tasks. They may have responsibility to provide guidance or to delegate aspects of these tasks to others.

Assessment:

All assessments are conducted online and you will receive feedback from your assessor within 48 hours (except when there is a Public Holiday). Holistic or major assessments may take up to seven days. Assessments may include multiple choice and/or short answer questionnaires, portfolios, case studies, and in some cases video and/or workplace based evidence may also be required. How long does this short course take?

Choosing to study online allows you to study at a pace that suits your lifestyle.

The total nominal hours for this course are 10 – 20 hours. This should include completing both the online training module and the associated formal assessment component.

How to gain your qualification faster!
Recognition of Prior learning (RPL) is “the acknowledgement of the skills and knowledge” that you have gained through previous studies, work and life experiences. If RPL is granted, this will mean that you will not have to complete the study or assessments for a unit or units of competency. Please read the student handbook for more information.
