Are you responsible for managing risk in your workplace?

With this unit, you will learn how to manage risks in a range of contexts across the organisation or for a specific business unit or area. The unit has been designed to be consistent with AS/NZS 4360:2004 Risk Management. It addresses the management of the risk across the organisation or within a business unit or area. It does not assume any given industry setting.

This unit applies to those who are working in positions of authority and are approved to implement change across the organisation, business unit, program or project area. You may or may not have responsibility for directly supervising others.

At the successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

  • Establish risk context.
  • Identify risks.
  • Analyse risks.
  • Select and implement treatments.
